Insurance Associates Incorporated was established as an independent insurance agency in 1981 with the purpose of providing exceptional Personal and Commercial Insurance products to the local community. Since its inception, the agency has grown from a staff of 2 to a staff of 14, writing personal and commercial products for customers in 13 states.
The foundation of the agency is rooted in a customer-centric business model and mode of operation. At the center of this model is a value added service philosophy focused on establishing, nurturing and maintaining business relationships at a personal level with each and every one of our clients. To that end, we have invested heavily in human resources, making certain that every current and prospective associate embraces the company philosophy of relationship management and superior customer service.
Further, we invest heavily in our community, as being a responsible corporate citizen is the denizen of maintaining public trust and establishing visibility. Our president is past president of the local Rotary, and sits on the Boards of 2 service organizations serving the elderly and underprivileged in Newark. Our personal lines relationship managers are involved in community organizations like the Knights of Columbus, Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank of Delaware and the American Diabetes Association.
